THE problem I have with horse meat found in beef products is the shocking news that Labour stopped testing for cross-contamination in meat back in 2003. In 2006 Labour stopped testing meat processing plants to save money. We could have been eating horse meat for nearly ten years under Labour and we wouldn’t have known about it. If companies had bought Welsh/British in the first place it would have secured jobs and given us safer meat.

Neigh and three time Neigh... It's what you get for outsourcing our food to Europe, French eat horse meat all the time, and birds of all sorts... Romania seems to be a primary source... Sooner we get out of this unhealthy situation the better.

The letter expose the lack of testing under Labour, this is why companies done what the done. They got away with it for years. I don't mind eating horse meat, nobody has died from it. Its the false advertising I don't like.
