Carrying on regardless

WITH one recession to their names, it appears that Cameron and Osborne are doing all they can to make it two.

I fear that the coalition is incapable of doing what is needed to get our country back into growth. The IMF has criticised Osborne for his failure to generate growth and all three major ratings agencies have the UK’s prized AAA status on negative outlook. If that were not bad enough, Cameron’s argument that his prized plan A is working and that debt is falling has been exposed as a lie. Chair of the UK Statistics Authority Andrew Dilnot confirmed that public sector net debt has risen from £811 billion in 2010, when the coalition took office, to £1.1 trillion at the end of last year. Is it not time that Cameron changed course before anymore damage is done, or is it a case of carry on regardless?
