Loyalty cuts both ways

AFTER hearing the report that Tesco distribution site in Magor would be cutting 150 staff, I have a suggestion: Let’s show Tesco some real loyalty by not shopping in their stores all over Wales and moving on to other stores or smaller shopkeepers. It would let them know that we do care what happens in our areas and that loyalty is very much a two- way street.

There are plenty of artisan producers and small business' in the area but sadly even the locals cant be bothered to support these hard working individuals.
The quality is not the best either, the veg is tasteless and uniform and the meat is bland and tough but we are in a non-foodie area where most people think this is great.
Too many people have loyalty to these superbeasts and believe they are working for their best interests and not for the profits. Until people learn to educate themselves then its a losing battle in this country.
