I HEAR from the HQ of the Welsh Assembly that the presiding officer wants to increase the number of members from 60 to 80 at an extra cost of £53,000 per member. How obscene is this when every other person in our principality is being asked to practise restraint in many ways, including amenities ie bowling clubs in Newport, who are now being priced out of their sport.
