God in Heaven help us all

CREEPING privatisation of the NHS is not something that surprises me, but it worries me since we have no politician in the UK capable of defending its former role.

It’s said that money makes the world go round. For some, maybe, but the lack of it has caused many unnecessary deaths and that is immoral, disgusting and unforgivable. A great deal of recent news has been pointless religious discussion about papal elections and of priests resigning because of accusations of sexual misconduct. Surely the obvious answer is allow priests to marry if they so wish, but that would be common sense. Dogma and bigotry are a lot more impressive in church circles! Hospitals governed by financial constraint, churches firmly in the grip of dogma and bigotry, priests prepared to conceal paedophilia and we call that our establishment. Well, God help us! Can that really be what we deserve?

it probably is, unfortunately.

Because we're all so very complacent and tomorrow we'll have something else to feel outraged about.

(And don't forget the horsemeat.)

Try the Welsh health Minister, sitting in her ivory welsh tower oblivious the welsh NHS is collapsing around her. (She goes private of course).
