Foodbank vital, please help out

I FIND it appalling that people go hungry due to government cutbacks. If it were not for the foodbanks such as the one in Ebbw Vale, then many would go without food. Is it part of Mr Cameron’s Big Society?

It is very much like the 1930s, when people went without to feed their children. Should you visit a foodbank it would break your heart to see people, through no fault of their own, having to ask for food for either themselves or family. Agencies like the Trussell Trust do a fantastic job, as do Tesco, who support Food Bank nationwide. Should you decide you wish to help out at the foodbank, Ebbw Vale, then call 01495 352223 and speak to Amanda Davies, who works so hard at trying to improve the lives of those less fortunate.

Anyone doubting the UK's 3rd world status must be convinced by now. Yet Cameron is still sending aid to other countries.... some in a better position than us.

Any Politician who takes political advantage and makes political capitol out of these modern day soup kitchens will be punished in the ballot box.
I suggest they help them in any way they but keep their head down in the process.

Ping Pong must live in Hong Kong if they do not accept the need for these food banks for use not by those who are unemployed but those hardworking families who do not earn enough money to heat and eat.

No one is going hungry because of changes to benefits. To date there have been almost zero cuts to benefits

Much of the problem is these people cannot manage their benefits and largly waste them. A recent pilot on benefits changes in Wales highlights this. The change was to pay benefits directly to the claiments without deducting rent. That was the only change yet rent areas doubled

This tends to indicate that the benefits office ought to go through their budget with these people and that essential payments should be maade direct and deducted from their benefits. These would typically be Rent, Council Tax., Water Rates, Gas & Electricity

Provide evidence to back your allegations. There are people getting food parcels who WORK, maybe educate them too ? These people who already WORK are also up their ears in debt getting pay day loans at 1300% interest.

WHERE is the work assuming these 'alleged' benefit recipients are capable ? Where is the work experiences for your young people ? Where is the support for disabled job seekers ? WHY are British employers ignoring anyone British to bring in polish/Romanian/Bulg
arian workers ?

First level the playing field THEN mount your bile.... We should be fining British employers for every foreign worker they employ. The others who discriminate we should have them in court.

While you are bashing benefit claimants there are 1 MILLION who aren't claiming anything but JSE which doesn't cover their fare to the job centre. Claimant bashing is just hate messaging and obviously those who print this garbage do not even know what they are talking about, because they never let fact get in the way of kicking someone when they are down.

If you think benefit claimants live the life of Riley, TRY IT !

What about someone who has paid into the system all his life, loses his job and can't get a penny because his wife is working on minimum wage.
All he'll get is NI contributions.
