I WAS very amused reading the article in Wheels ‘Motorists concerned about older drivers’ and I am sure that a lot of other ‘older drivers’ must have had a good laugh.
I can only assume that the people who took part in the survey are the bad younger drivers who are making excuses for their own inabilities.
I have been driving for 48 years and have never had, or been involved in an accident. I think that all drivers should have sight tests every two years and send a certificate in to DVLA every five years or less as they get older.
I intend to go on driving as long as I am able, my car is my lifeline.
