WITH reference to the new £13m courthouse in Lower Dock Street (Argus, May 24). I have no criticism of the up-to-date facilities being provided for the staff and protagonists who will be using the building. But: only a 22-space car park?
The article states that 34 extra jobs are being providing, add on the “clientele” and simple arithmetic will soon tell anyone that 22 spaces is nowhere near enough. What were the planners thinking of?
I note that it is not very far from an Asda supermarket; so will their car park end up being used as an overspill for the courthouse? We wait and see!
