SOUTHAMPTON Itchen MP John Denham is fronting a campaign urging world leaders preparing for an international summit to set corruption and tax evasion at the heart of their agenda.
The Labour MP is backing his party’s Day of Action initiative demanding that Prime Minister David Cameron ensures that tax, aid and transparency are top of the agenda when he chairs the next G8 Leaders Summit in Lough Erne next Monday.
The two-day event is a forum for the world’s eight wealthiest countries to discuss trade and economics.
