Animals can't call me silly

IN HIS haste to put me down Mr Walt Jackson failed to understand what I was saying. I stated that humanity is capable of imaginative, creative and inventive thought and Mr Jackson equated this with the response of animals to their human masters.
I have been told that animals respond to humans within the terms of their instincts: e.g. dogs give undying affection because they see their masters as the pack leader, and so on.
It is plainly wrong to say that animals can reason as humans. I have yet to read a play or book, or listen to a symphony written by an animal. No animal has implied that I am silly, because it cannot think in those terms, neither can it communicate with me in any form of terminology.
