HAS global warming finally arrived in South Wales? Or at least in a Royal Gwent Hospital car park if the number of French travellers’ caravans is anything to go by (Argus October 21). It’s not often that the Severn Estuary competes favourably with the Mediterranean.
I notice in the photograph several rooftop satellite dishes, presumably to let the occupants watch television in their own language. So, is our own TV licensing Authority going to pay them a visit to make sure that they are fully paid-up members of the Jimmy Savile BBC compensation fund? Or will they be exempted and not subjected to the same scrutiny as those of us who live in less mobile homes? We wait and see.
