I AM writing to see if any of your readers can help my mother June Carmichael, nee Powell, who is searching for any relatives of her father Edward Powell born in Newport 1917.
He moved here to Carrickfergus and married Sarah Powell in 1914, his siblings would be Albert, Maud, Mary, Joyce, Gwen, Bill and George Powell. My mum can remember as a girl visiting Joyce and would love to find out all about her Welsh side of family, so hopefully someone will be reading this that can help. Thank you.
