OLDER people’s charity Royal Voluntary Service is taking part in the Garfield Weston Foundation Christmas challenge on December 5, 6, and 7. For those three days only, any donation made to the RVS will be doubled by the foundation.
Christmas can be a lonely time for older people. Our research suggests over 300,000 will spend Christmas Day alone this year.
