Labour's record

Re Cllr Gez Kirby Dec 12.

LET me explain Gez, I don’t think Labour voters are ignorant, I know they are, they suffer from sheep syndrome.

Anyone who can vote for a party that brought this country to its knees has to be politically ignorant.

If police crime figures were recorded properly and the appropriate justice was implemented half the Labour Party would be living on Dartmoor. As for writing off our young people you’ve got the wrong Jones, you will find the right Jones speaking gobbledegook in Cardiff Bay.

Ironic that the party that Mr Jones describes as 'bringing the country to its knees' is also the party that established the welfare state, the minimum wage and the National Health Service.
For all the flaws of the Blair years, Labour is still the party that best represents ordinary working people, while the tories cater to the economic interests of a small elite while carrying the false banner of 'individualism'.
The people of Wales are intelligent enough to see through the right-wing propaganda.

Sheep syndrome? Hardly. What it IS however, is an allergic reaction to Tory (as on the inside put it) - scum... (nice to see I'm not the only one who instinctively uses that epithet to describe the conservative party).

The undeniable fact that New Labour aren't any better is why voter participation is in such a crisis in the UK.

let's look at the facts under labour, give them there dues, minimum wage a good thing, but oh how the welfare state became bloated on there watch, 40% of Merthyr on the sick for example, and the nhs under Labour with its determination to get waiting lists down etc led to hospitals Llike south Staffordshire killing people with neglect. also the other contributor to this debate just because the councillor is a Tory doesent make him scum, he his entitled to his opinion, even if it differs from yours and mine.

This is one of the main reasons why Labour got it massively wrong on flooding our Country with anybody with any disease from anywhere in the world bringing large amounts of TB & ( Aids) HIV to spread it around in OUR Country, with the huge cost of immediate treatment and long term ongoing medical treatment and care, this Government is NO better either.

These Languages are on the back of a medical appointment letter sent to a patient from our NHS. in ALBANIAN, ARABIC, BENGALI, CHINESE, FARSI, GUJARATI, HINDI, POLISH, PORTUGUESE, PUNJABI, SOMALI, TURKISH, URDU, to the Welsh language haters, the printing of our language in our Country is insignificant compared to what you pay into the above.

No doubt many of the far left, you know the Liberal, Labour, Greens will think this is something to be proud of, to millions of British people who have paid vast amounts of tax money to make our NHS the best medical care to look after our needs now and in old age are unbelievably disgusted with not having a say who and how many foreigners come here willy nilly for FREE, not withstanding their children's needs, Schooling, housing and the rest of the costly social welfare system that is not and never will be in place to cater for the hordes here and on their way, but hey your dad voted Labour and so the misery continues sheeple....

The Unite Union who give the Labour Party millions are offering Romania and Bulgarians advice on how to fill DWP welfare forms in for unemployment benefits, in return the immigrant Bulgarians and Romanians have to join Unite, but because their unemployed they only have to pay a weekly sub to the Unite Union of £0.50p.....Was Labour good for this Country in the last 13 years when they were in Charge: NO NO NO NO NO....

Good grief, have you been hitting the sherry? Or should we just change the 'county' in your name to 'completely'?

I'm so sick and tired of hearing people talking about the tories, or labour, or UKIP, and how they're all so **** wonderful. Newsflash for you completely - they're all cut from the same cloth. And if you think that politicians run this country, or have any say in how things are done around here, then there's really no hope for you.

Ever heard the expression 'we are where we are'? Which as far as I can see means Wales now gets £10b more than the taxes collected here and the total is then mismanaged by a bunch of knuckle-dragging self-important dimwits in Cardiff Bay. Easy to blame others for the ills of Wales but a lot are self-inflicted.

before the Assembly guys like John Redwood Welsh secretary returned millions of unspent Welsh money back to London. The Welsh office was and still is a waste of money, who needs a Cardiff and london office. True the Welsh government is to blame (new Labour). Think of that lost revenue that could have put Wales on a better footing with other countries. Now Wales go cap in hand to London masters of the day.

Now Wales go cap in hand to London masters of the day.[/p][/quote]You still don't answer where that £10B would come from if ever you got your wet dream independence. Llanmartinangel

For all the flaws of the Blair years, Labour is still the party that best represents ordinary working people, while the tories cater to the economic interests of a small elite while carrying the false banner of 'individualism'.
The people of Wales are intelligent enough to see through the right-wing propaganda.
That is why Wales will always and forever be a backward country.
A massive 'chip on its shoulder'.
Living in the past and still blaming Margaret Thatcher.
I thought that Labour supported the non-working class anyway?
None of the main parties are fit for purpose and that definitely includes the Labour Party.

Wales will have more employment and less overheads. Wales could have a vote to not join the EU. So being poor and sitting on the coattails of England, is your only option.

But you can't argue with two simple numbers. The amount raised here in total taxation and the other being the total amount of public spending. The former is £10billion a year below the other. You've never said how that money could be found in Wales overnight. Ask yourself two questions: Plaid Cymru no longer mention independence. Why do you suppose that is? What have they figured out that you haven't?

It is also the party that took us into Iraq on a lie, bankrupted the country and deliberately introduced unfettered immigration to ensure its political electability. A record to be proud of.

The Tories don't care about Wales, their votes come from England and Labour just put the Welsh on a shelf, while blaming the Tories.

Bliar engineered a 'yes vote' in Wales which resulted in this debacle of a so-called government in The Bay.
The quality of some of the representative AM's in the lead party leaves a lot to be desired.
We haven't a hope of going it alone in the present state we find ourselves.
And the net effect of devolution is that we are as a nation left on the shelf so to speak .
It is as if we don't exist anymore, when anything worthy of news is mostly centred on England.
We are just an appendage to be ridiculed and criticised.
We should have stayed as we were as I cannot think of any great advantage we have gained by having these extra freeloaders in Cardiff.
