Help missed out

FLOODING in Newport 03.01.2013. Now it can be seen why the Welsh office were wrong not to allow Newport to provide a barrage across the River Usk. Perhaps its time to look again at Newport Council’s proposals which were turned down in 1994. It would have prevented any flooding higher upstream than the Southern Distributor Road.

Newport city must look again a the barrage we can control the flow by lowering the levels in the docks t low tide and filling them at high tide with the river and emptied at low tide maintaining the river at a constant level we can widen the river at some points to create more water holding bowls for fish and bird's we can create power from the barrage we can have floating homes.
boats for transport and leisure.
prevention of flooding to to people in low levels in the city and District ,
It is a fact tides are rising weather is on the change.

will never happen,we need a new motorway around newport and the tolls abolished on the foreign owned severn bridge before any of this to happen, london has their thames barrier, cardiff has theirs, but cant see the welsh office or those nobs in parliament allowing newport any funding for this in the near future,

The river got a bit high, big deal. Doesn't warrant £x million spending on it when we can't afford it
