AFTER all the publicity about care homes and the treatment of the elderly I thought through your newspaper I could thank The Fields Nursing home at Newport’s Allt-yr-yn for the wonderful care and respect they showed to my mother.
She had severe dementia and resided there for nine years.
They showed complete compassion, and I cannot praise the care they showed enough, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
