RE: PROPOSED closure of Bridge Street Crown Post Office Branch I suppose this letter could be headed “Dim Postio” in an ironic sort of way.
Today, 25th February 25, I happened to be in the post office on Bridge Street, Newport and read of the proposed closure, there being lots of posters and leaflets available detailing the plans. However, on closer examination there was NO way to make one’s views known in writing – by that, I mean actually posting a letter to anyone!
Sure, the leaflet mentioned “FREEPOST” but there was no actual address. I brought this to the attention of the customer services advisor on duty but despite making further enquiries she was as dumbfounded as me...
