WE AT Newport and Cwmbran Royal Naval Association would like to thank the management and staff of the following stores and establishments for being so helpful and for granting us permission to sell raffle tickets from their premises – Sainsbury’s Albany Street, Morrisons Orb Drive, Asda Pencarn Way, Newport Indoor Market and The Kingsway Centre.
The raffle tickets, prizes and licence were all provided free by Newport Uskmouth Rotary Club, all we had to do was sell tickets and keep the money.
The hard work was done by Rotarian Jane Shatford and her fellow Rotarians, so thanks to them also.
Last, but by no means least, thanks to all who bought tickets and made donations, which swelled our funds by £2,228.25p.
