NEWPORT Council has made much of attracting people to the city centre. Has it considered employing a ‘flash mob’? Not familiar with the term? Key it into YouTube and select one of the references. Such an event does not have to be a large elaborate affair – a small group can be just as effective.
Another change which might increase visitor numbers is converting one or more streets into arcades.
