THE City of Newport branch of the Royal Welsh Comrades would like to thank the Lord Lieutenant, the High Sheriff, the city’s mayor and mayoress and the dignitaries and associations, including the many standard bearers and veterans, who supported the 70th Anniversary D-Day parade and service on June 8.
The branch would also like to thank the fire service who again provided transport to the Royal British Legion.
