IT IS with great sadness that I read of the sale of St Joseph’s.
My three children, now aged 46, 44 and 42, were all born there.
The care, food and accommodation were second to none.
All it cost for the week’s stay was the price of the maternity allowance paid at the time.
Sisters Veronica, Mary Joseph and Josephine will always be close to my heart.
