Express outrage

First published in Letters

THE ONGOING murder of the Palestinian people by Israeli state terrorism is obviously an outrage to humanity! I ask people who are disgusted at the bombing of Gaza and the slaughter of men, women and children to: 1) Boycott Israeli products.

2) Write letters of protest to the Israeli Embassy.

3) Donate to Medical Aid for Palestinians, Unit 4, Mitton Distribution Park, London Road, Amesbury, Wilts, SP4 7RT. (Cheques made out for MAP).

Sorry Terry, I am usually in full agreement with most of your comments, but on this, I have to tell you, if I was not absolutely atheist and utterly anti religion, I would adopt Judaism, and if still young enough, be willing to join in the fight.
I can tell you, you may own an ex council house, (just a guess, as an example, which would mean you 'stole' property from your fellow taxpayers) often the claim made by sympathisers of the Muslims in Palestine that their land was stolen by Israel, so using that example, would you welcome aggrieved taxpayers, annoyed by you acquisition of their property, tossing petrol bombs over your garden fence.

I estimate you would not.

The state of Israel is a legitimate sovereign state, recognised by most of the world, but castigated and threatened by the Islamic world.

It has every right to defend itself, and if that requires retaliation measures, and measures pre warned by radio announcements, TV adverts and leaflet drops, and the Gazans fail to heed, and carry on launching missiles from schools, playgrounds, back gardens, even mosques, and what have you, then I for one see no reason to criticise it.
The people of Gaza are being used, invariably willingly, as human shields, but the tactics are not working, and their cries to the rest of the world are pathetic, they know what they are doing..

.......fortunately, so do the Israelis.

It's not all Israel's fault here, Hamas has been planing this war for years, digging tunnels into Israel not out of Israel, what do you do when your constantly attacked, do nothing is not an option, I pasted this for your information Mr Banfield, Palestinians need to remove Hamas from Palestine, and get around the peace table, please remember it's every duty of Muslims to kill Jews according to their teachings and from what is on the media that's all they want to do, they also including all non believers, and in their world that's us......Both sides should stop, but two have to stop....not one....

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) announced on Tuesday that another rocket stockpile has been found at one of its schools in Gaza, Breitbart reported.
This instance marks the third time since the beginning of Operation Protective Edge that a weapons arsenal has been found at an UNRWA school in Gaza.
UNRWA has yet to place blame on any individuals or organizations for placing the weapons stockpile within a children’s school. The UN body refused to do so on the past two previous occasions as well.
UNRWA spokesman Chris Gunness condemned those responsible for placing civilians in harm's way by storing the rockets at the school.

"We condemn the group or groups who endangered civilians by placing these munitions in our school. This is yet another flagrant violation of the neutrality of our premises. We call on all the warring parties to respect the inviolability of UN property," Gunness said in a statement quoted by the Reuters news agency.

After the first finding of rockets at an UNRWA school, it was reported that rather than destroying the rockets, UNRWA workers called Hamas to come remove them.

While UNRWA confirmed the existence of rockets in one of its schools last week, the organization refused an Israeli request to provide a picture of the weapons. A picture could have helped Israel show that Hamas uses civilian institutions to store weapons and launch attacks.

Hamas has openly used human shields in its latest conflict with Israel. The terrorist group has also issued a statement urging Gaza residents to ignore IDF warnings to evacuate their homes....

"the slaughter of men, women and children"

Please don't forget the Palestinians who may not identify as either female or male. Although they may well be in a minority and their very existence made illegal by the Hamas authorities they are still human beings too and suffer like anyone else. In future, why not use the term people - it's not only all-inclusive but it's much more concise.

The jewish people of WW2 should not have been in the concentration camps and the Palastinians of today should not be in the concentration camp of Gaza.

The problem does not stem from the Isreali people, it comes from the Zionist Political movement. If you ask any real Jewish person they denounce Zionism, and if you turn away from westernised main stream propoganda, you can acctually see evidence of Isreali Jews protesting the the governkent for they way political zionism is treating the palistinians.

This rubbish you here that Hamas is using people as human shields is pure propoganda of the isreali government. The isreali government target people indiscriminately.

There is plenty of evidence on youtube of Isreali war crimes like toddlers with double tap gunshots to the chest or isreali soldiers shooting teenagers in the back for throwing stones.

Not to mention the Isreali snatch squads that take children as young as 12 years old in the middle of the night and interogate them in barbaric ways.

The evidence of Isreali war crimes is there for the world to see and the genocide you are witnessing right now is no better than that of what the Nazis done to the jews in WW2.

Hmmm...I get a bit fed up with this Godwinesque German-bashing that goes on during discussions of the Israeli-Palestine conflict which actually has nothing to do with it.

Besides, why go out of your way to criticize the Germans when a much more apt WW2 analogy would have been the allied bombing of Dresden. What do you think happened when your own country turned the cities of Germany into fireballs roasting to death many innocent children whose only 'crime' was to have the misfortune of being born during the Third Reich?

Why is it that when the Brits and the Yanks do exactly the same things as foreigners they so often seem to assume that they are nevertheless morally superior to them?

Drawing a comparison between the the Nazi concentration camps and the concentration camp of Gaza is not german bashing.

The concentration camps of Nazi Germany are in fact not that different to the one you see in Gaza with the exception of a gas chamber.

I have not criticised the Germans at all.

My post was purely a fact about political zionism and its effects on the Palistinian people.

I feel sorrow for the people that were born during the third Reich, I Feel sorrow for the Jewish people of Isreal and I feel dorry for the prople of Palistine.

I am sick to death of biased westernised main stream media Lying to the viewers it has left.

Now that you have brought up the bombing of Dresden in stating that it would have been a good analogy to make: I agree with you, 100 %.

I was making more of a point about Political Zionism and its war crimes against the Palistinian people.

Can I just ask, read my first post again and listen to the videos.

Thank you, love and peace to all on this planet.

Do behave yourself Kate, ..... 'not identify as male or female?'

The incidence of such people in any demographic is almost zero.

Why don't you stick to the meat of the debate instead of perpetually bringing homosexaul;ity into it?

Most of your comments are well thought out, rational and worthy of my thumbs up, I get nauseated however by your 'third gender' stuff.

The world is male or female, no matter what a few oddities get up to, most of which has nothing to do with gender, but is all about perverted notions of sexuality.
