I HAVE just seen notification of extending the bus stops in Risca by 13 metres, by Caerphilly C.C. what a laugh.
If they only had a traffic warden or maybe a policeman walking around the street there would not be a problem, stopping cars parking at the bus stop, also bus route 151 two or three at the same time at the bus stop.
They reduced the parking area the other side for taxis, it is never used, and the taxis pick up at the bus stops.
We have a problem with disabled parking at Risca also, all cars parking there, no thought for the disabled.
Are the council trying to close Risca down, possibly, living in the wrong valley methinks!
