On behalf of our local community, can I thank Sainsbury’s, Pontllanfraith for their generous donation of £500 to a local primary school. The donation was used to buy iPads and textiles for the schoolchildren to train older people how to use technology while the older people could teach the children how to crochet and knit. This is an excellent initiative helping local people develop skills across the generational divide and Sainsbury’s, Pontllanfraith are doing a great job in serving our community in Islwyn.
