YOU HAVE all heard of the novel The Rape of the Fair Country well we now have a new one, “the rape of the western valley” produced and directed by Caerphilly council. Closures and demolition of leisure centres etc, mostly on this side the western valley.
Why don’t you just demolish the whole area, ie from Blackwood down to Risca?
I do not see much if any reduction the other side of Machen Mountain, ie the Rhymney and Aber valley, please correct me if I am wrong, better still have a look at yourselves, 73 councillors.
Why? Very high expensive bill methinks.
