FOLLOWING the European Elections, there was plenty of boisterous talk from UKIP about how they would be challenging for Westminster seats in South Wales. Now though, we see that their target list contains exclusively English seats.

Indeed, of those 12twelve seats, only one is Labour-held. Clearly, they are targeting a Conservative Party which has pledged to hold an EU referendum and let the people of this country decide. That must surely benefit the Labour Party, who have insisted they will not.

It may be a cliché, but this is just further proof that a vote for Ukip is a vote to put Ed Miliband into Number 10.

Only a Conservative government can deliver an ‘in or out’ EU referendum. But putting Ed Miliband into Downing Street would also have far-more-costly implications. It would threaten an economic recovery which has seen record job levels and the fastest growth, by far, among the G7 nations.

I do understand why some voters opted for Ukip at a Euro election, but such flirtation at a general election could leave them waking up with Ed.
