AS A WELSH nationalist, the worst kind of nationalism is British nationalism as it brings out religious, cultural/language and colour of one’s skin into question.

History has shown us that empires bring wars, people oppression and pain and the British Empire is no different from the Roman Empire.

A British Empire was pushed by commerce, making the rich richer by using the military from the Opium wars in China to the Boston Tea Party.

Now, honest Gordon Brown is asking the people of Scotland to trust him and the Labour Party, the same people that got us into this financial mess, while the Tories and Lib Dems expect the same trust while punishing the poor and cutting essential public services.

These extra powers which have been agreed by the party leaders will mean what for the people of Wales and England? And will this verbal agreement be honoured once the election is over? Will all London MPs and the UKIP party vote for these changes if they form a new government next year?

If Scotland vote to stay in Europe, but England wants to leave, can Scotland veto the vote and stay in Europe? I think not. Scotland, like Wales, will be dragged out of Europe whatever.
