PLAID Cymru have announced that their 2015 general election manifesto will include a commitment to introduce the Living Wage for 250,000 low-paid workers in Wales.
I wonder if your regular correspondent, Nationalist Mr Andrew Nutt, will therefore change his tune and stop criticising our Labour-led Caerphilly Council for its decision two years ago to pay the Living Wage to our lowest-paid staff?
The Nationalists make promises they know they can never keep.
Our Labour-led Caerphilly Council has delivered for its lowest-paid workers, benefitting them, their families and our local economy.
Cllr Gez Kirby, Pontllanfraith
