THE recent BBC Wales TV show Hotel 24/7 made for some eye-opening and cringe-worthy viewing.
The senior management did nothing but giggle at inane tripe. It was embarrassing, as was the wearing of slippers on duty! The housekeeping division made fun of a celebrity guest, showing his vacated room whilst commenting on and belittling his personal habits!
It’s no surprise President Obama decided to stay on an aircraft carrier. The show did nothing to portray the Celtic Manor in a good light.
Having worked at management level in 5 star hotels around the world, I know of what I speak. Terry, give me a call urgently!
