I HAVE a query regarding some photographs and programmes that have come into my possession and I was hoping your readers might be able to answer.
I have photographs of Newport Model Parliament. The first photo is a South Wales Argus photograph and the second one Happy Snaps. The Parliament ran from 1945 to 1951 according to the Annual Dinner Programmes that I have.
The people in the photographs were well known people in the town at that time. I have asked a number of people if they know anything about it and also a local councillor who was unable to answer. Perhaps your readers might know?
