MAY I make a response to Mr Banfield’s letter in the Argus on Tuesday, October 7?

Mr Banfield, I have a very clear view of where you stand. You would have come to me when I set up my own little business, taking a big chance with my own finances and expertise in my field, and working-12 hour days.

You would have expected me to pay you the same as I paid myself and give you an equal share of the profit I made, at no risk to yourself.

You would have got a sharp reply and sent on your way. Thank God the normal worker in this country does not think the same as you.

Workers at British Leyland were led by a person such as you and we all know how that ended. If you lift your head out of the sand, you will see there is a real world beyond your strange world as an anarchist.
