MANY of your readers are probably still recovering, having taken part in the Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon as a runner or as one of the many volunteers.
I thank all of you who supported Barnardo’s Cymru by running, cheering, catering, directing, baggage handling, massaging, handing out running vests, balloons, bananas and leaflets or encouraging family and friends to do all of the above on Sunday.
Nearly 900 people ran for Barnardo’s Cymru — and many children took part in the fun run on Saturday.
We hope your sponsorship money will come through soon so we reach our target of £100,000 from the event. Thank you for your help.
