I AM fed up with reading “abolish the Welsh Assembly” letters.

Even though I agree with various people about the way Labour governed Wales being terrible, history has taught us that both Labour and Tory governments in London haven’t done any better and have certainly done Wales no favours.

As the London governments are so detached from voters – just look at the various MP expenses scandals, illegal war, punishing the poor and working families.

With all its mistakes, bad policies and public services cuts, there is no call to abolish the London Parliament or even local councils.

So, the same should apply to the Welsh Assembly.

In Wales, we have democracy and there is a better chance to vote Labour out of the Welsh Government than to have a say in voting out the party in London.

Thanks to the South East of England.
