THERE seem to be major splits within Labour and, once again, over money. Some Islwyn councillors are unhappy with the amount of money being spent in Bargoed, but they voted for the budget, whereas the Rhymney councillors are trying to keep to a promise they made to the people of the Rhymney valley.
Keeping election promises is a lesson some Islwyn councillors should learn. I hope Caerphilly side AMs and MPs will stand by their councillors over this extra money needed. There are still thousands of people within the valley who would enjoy the Bargoed cinema experience.
