MAY I, on behalf of The Royal Welsh Comrades City of Newport Branch, take this opportunity to thank all those members of the public who made generous donations to this year’s Poppy Appeal raising the sum of £5,033.34 for this worthy cause, plus a further £2,491.32 which was raised in the Caerleon area by branch member Brian Davies.
Special thanks to Jo from Cedar’s Cafe who generously supplied members with tea and coffee throughout the week. Also thanks to Newport Market staff for all their help during the week.
