RE: King St Brynmawr. I have only just been alerted to the comment from ‘Robodad’ to the article South Wales Argus ran on 18th February 2014 announcing the sale of this little house. I am mystified by the stance taken. The property had been unfit for human habitation and empty for some five years. It was on the market for over a year.
Far from being a loss to local people, it will be renovated and brought back to the housing stock and available to local people. Indeed, one enquiry from a local person has already been received. Further, why didn’t a ‘local person’ buy it?
Even now, with full planning permission in place, if a local person wants to buy it – make an offer. For interest, I am not some sort of high powered speculator, I am a retired shoe repairer simply keeping myself busy.
