REGARDING our NHS crisis, are we not dealing with the results of an ageing population? Don’t we need 2:1 babies per woman able to conceive children, to reach replacement level?

The triangle with the younger population at the bottom has now been tipped upside down or is well on its way. Clearly, 200,000 abortions in the UK annually is not helping the situation. It’s simple logic.

Those countries that do not replace their population will be replaced by others.
