LABOUR leader Ed Miliband accused the prime minister of being “frit” and “running scared” from the proposed debates. David Cameron insists he wants the debates to take place – but only if all national parties represented in the Commons, including the Greens, take part or if it is a head-to-head contest between the two men who have a chance of becoming prime minister.
Plaid Cymru were also entitled to be part of a debate: Let’s be honest, Plaid have not been represented in parliament by less than three MPs for the past 20 years which is identical to the combined total currently of UKIP and the Green party.
