MAY I, through the Argus, say a big thank you to all who work in the National Health Service. I grew up in the 1930s when there was no NHS. My parents, like a lot of parents of that period, couldn’t afford to pay a doctor.
I would like to say thank you to doctors and staff at the Grange Clinic and Malpas Pharmacy, including the drivers and those wonderful angels, the district nurses, who I’ve had to call out at all hours of the day and night in all weathers.
Mr R K Rogers, Graig Park Road, Newport
