I VISITED Cwmbran boating lake today( Monday March 30), and guess what? Yes,the council has decided to do ground works just as they did in the school holidays last year (dredged small lake)!
I am not sure if the council is aware that the schools are on holidays and this area becomes very busy –or not.
I am also unsure what risk assessments they have done either, bearing in mind the movements of vans and digging equipment with young children in the area.
An explanation from the person who planned this work would be nice, but not a fob-off please.
