IT’S no surprise that socialist parties are being totally ignored as the gutter press swings into their usual mode of trying to influence the election outcome, attacking personalities instead of policies. How can we have a “free press”when 75 per cent is owned by just four multi-millionaire press barons.
Anybody reading the short manifestos through the letterboxes would have thought the demands reasonable as capitalism lurches from one crisis to another, change is inevitable.
