NOT sure where Andrew Nutt has been living these past few years (Letters, May 13th).
UKIP is a party made up of ex Tories? That’s why here in Wales almost all of our members are ex Labour. Statistics show this is also the case in large areas of England. Again describing UKIP as an English party could not be further from the truth.
Perhaps Andrew was asleep when the European results were announced last year.
We came second in Wales, coming within a few thousand votes of Labour.
What other party in Wales has come that close in a national election?
Oh, and of course, Andrew, in case you missed it, we came third in vote count in the recent General Election in Wales, beating Plaid Cymru. By the way, we do not want to come out of the Euro, we’re not in it.
We do however want to come out of the European Superstate, and regain our status as an independent nation as befits a country with the sixth largest economy in the world.

Chair UKIP Wales Regional Committee
