I READ in the Argus on 25th June 25 that Newport Bus is joining in with Catch the Bus Week 2015 which is National Campaign to encourage people to switch from car to taking the bus or coach.
How ironic this is, as from 28th June 28, Newport Transport will be cutting out many early morning bus services, including those to and from St Julians, which is going to make it very difficult for people to get to work.
This is like a slap in the face for those who will be affected. There is no way that people will be encouraged to use the bus when a car can get them from A to B with much less hasstle. So ‘on your bike,' Newport Bus, you will be wasting your time!
