SOME Labour councillors like to make a point regarding the opinions of Saunders Lewis on WWII.
Being a Catholic, he took some of his beliefs from the Catholic church during the war.
Now having seen the Queen as a child doing the Nazi salute, what’s worrying for me is the Queen mother and Edward VIII happily make the same salute.
The pictures of Edward VIII meeting Adolf Hitler in 1937, confirms my beliefs that he would have been a puppet king for Germany.
Having fascist sympathisers brought his loyalty into question.
I’m glad the government of the time dispatched Edward to the Bahamas.
So any future silly letters from some Labour councillors about Saunders Lewis, just think the real threat to Britain was a member of the Royal family and king.
