AT THE end of June, I was admitted to the A&E department at the Royal Gwent Hospital with severe abdominal pains which subsequently involved me to have an emergency operation performed by a wonderful surgeon who saved my life.
I spent time in the intensive care and high dependency units and then to ward C1 West who cared for me for three weeks. They were so kind, caring, patient and also helped my worried husband cope, their commitment to getting me settlers was excellent nothing was too much trouble, they truly are an inspiration to the medical profession.
The Royal Gwent Hospital is an amazing place that heals broken bodies. I can never ever thank all that they done for us and they love and care shown to us at RGH. May god bless you all.
