RE: Response to “Litter Reply”
I wish to thank the members of Torfaen council who responded to my concerns over a recycling operative throwing an item to ground, for their quick response and assuring myself and other residents that this and other similar complaints will be dealt with. To Mr Bevan, who replied to the same letter on August 13, I say this: Your comment on “curtain twitchers and spies” was uncalled for. If you were short changed at a supermarket or had a bad haircut, would you not complain? Everyone expects good service, whoever the provider is. Collection of our refuse is a service we tax payers are paying for.
You have a good knowledge on how recycling operatives work. Would you like to share your knowledge on how curtain twitchers and spies work?
