HERE’S a hint for all recluses in Brynglas and Allt-yr-yn, not to mention the shivering hermits in Rogerstone: panic not, there exists a means of travel readily available to all and at a pittance.
Why not take the Ghost Bus and let your troubles drift away?
It’s a regular service and oh, how much more room on board. As for the fare, well one’s soul might be something one might willingly surrender, even with no guarantee of a return ticket. After all, we all need to get to town, don’t we?
So, is Newport transport service no longer in the business of aiding lost souls? Apparently not. Otherwise it might be more protective of the endangered nether regions of our beleaguered city. There remain distinctive and ever-widening gaps in the provision of transport, each one of which could be filled by the word “duty.” Think on, councillors, while the devil drives.
