I WRITE with reference to Bryn Jones’ letter to Stagecoach on August 18. I would like to strongly support his sentiments, and commend him for highlighting this.
There are a number of areas where accessibility in society falls short, and transport is a key area in which it frequently happens.
I’m writing in now to let Mr Jones know that his letter prompted me to consult with Disability Advice Project – a fantastic advocacy organisation based in Pontnewydd – and wrote a letter to Stagecoach to seek assurances that these concerns will be looked into, and that all drivers have had, or will receive, training to properly cater to all its users.
