THE excessive noise of music booming emanating from St Tewdric’s House, Mathern Lane, Chepstow on Saturday caused considerable distress to residents not only nearby but across the entire community.
Many thought it was coming from the athletic club but that was not the case.
The noise pollution was not only heard but felt as the constant vibration through properties disturbed the citizens of this town, upsetting children from their sleep, followed by noisy fireworks that could be heard from mathern, sedbury and other areas, causing dogs to whine and bark in distress.
By all means have a party but show respect for the public, keep the levels down, there is no need to bombard everyone else with the horrendous continuous noise, leaving us with headaches and unable to sleep.
