THE new shopping centre is very nice and is an addition to the city, but, why are the car parks now offering less free time than before? We used to have two hours free parking now it is only one hour then you have to start paying. Also, I understand that the prices for the new cinema are £9.50 to get in, where as in Blackwood the prices are about £2.50. The owners of the car parks and cinema will price themselves out of business and people will be going to Cwmbran rather than Newport, because the prices are cheaper.
